Providence Health & Services Provider Concierge Coordinator in Spokane, Washington


Providence is calling a Provider Concierge Coordinator (Day Shift, 1.0 FTE Full Time) to Providence Medical Group in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

  • Initiate credentialing & privileging packets, obtain all physician information and signatures.

  • Coordinate with the Medical Staff Offices for hospital privileging.

  • Complete entire payer credentialing process for non-delegated payers. Coordinate with delegated credentialing committee staff to obtain approval from committee

  • Coordinate ongoing re-credentialing with Medical Staff Services for hospital privileging after initial onboarding. Coordinates re-credentialing with the Delegated Credentialing Team for delegated insurance payers after initial credentialing.

  • Maintain master files for clinic credentialing to include CLIA licenses, PAC practice plans, W9’s, certificates of insurance and other clinic credentialing identifiers (NPI numbers, Tax-ID numbers and payor ID’s).

  • Complete weekly tasks related to credentialing claim edits in both Epic and legacy billing systems. Ensures compliance with all federal programs by completing other enrollment related projects as assigned.

  • Coordinate the provider departure process for PMG providers. Including timely notification to internal stakeholders when provider and/or Providence give notice of a provider termination.

  • Implement Providence-wide standard operating procedures into the regional market for the onboarding and off boarding of all employed Providence providers in the regional market that you support.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education. Field of Study: Health care administration, business administration or related field. (6 years of experience working directly with physicians in a clinical setting will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree)

  • 2 years healthcare experience working with physicians in a clinic or hospital setting

  • Knowledge of health care environment, medical office policies and procedures

  • Experience with Desktop software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project. Clinical applications, including, but not limited to, Epic, Centricity Business, MSOW, ProvConnect, ProvReports, and Selectica (Physician Contract software). PC peripherals and other office or AV equipment, such as digital projectors, fax, copier

  • Basic human resource management practices and knowledge of payer contracts and credentialing
