Under the supervision of the manager or Vice President of Patient & Clinical Services, serves as an active member of the Operating room team in providing quality surgical patient care. Assists in the maintenance of a safe and aseptic surgical environment. Observes and teaches other surgical team members proper surgical technique. Demonstrates behavior practices that reflect the philosophy and mission of our sponsors, Providence Health and Services, our founders, the Dominican Sisters, and Providence Mount Carmel Hospital's Standards of Conduct.

Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training Graduation from accredited surgical tech program. Or equivalent educ/experience.
Experience as needed to fulfill job functions.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework/Training Recent completion of CST training program. Or equivalent educ/experience.
Current job as an OR Technician.
Coursework/Training Central Service training.
Upon hire: Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA).
Central Service experience.
