Providence Health & Services Clinic Program Coordinator in Colville, Washington
Providence is calling an Administrative Assistant ( Prov Support Services Newmg , Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Medical Group in Colville, Washington. In this position you will:
Coordinates scheduling of professional staff for program sessions and team meetings.
Coordinates patient referrals, intake, and scheduling. Works with the Medical Director and families to ensure necessary screening tests are completed prior to beginning of program cycle.
Establishes and manages enrollment for programs, including if necessary, maintaining a wait list. Maintains effective communication with families about treatment start dates, expectations, and schedules.
Manages program equipment and supplies, from ordering to inventory.
Works with medical director to develop referral relationships and maintain effective communications with referring physicians. May make calls to physician off
Helps create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for families and their success.
Understand, support and implement the mission of the clinic and Providence Physician Division to deliver health care to those in need in the performance of all job responsibilities.
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including the recording of services and costs.
Keep Clinic Administrator abreast of clinic operations and special projects.
Coordinate program operations and activities to ensure efficient and quality service is delivered within all sections of the program.
Demonstrate the Providence values including compassion, Dignity, Justice, Excellence, and Integrity.
Coordinate acquisition and production of education material and help with patient education.
Participate on committees related to the program, clinic, and network-wide operational development.
Assist in development, recommending, and implementing strategic planning as it relates to the program and Providence Physician Division.
Analyze, evaluates, and prepare recommendations to enhance efficiency and productivity of the program.
Assist in creating, recommending, and implementing processes to increase and maintain patient volume and satisfaction.
Maintain supportive working relationship with the Medical Director and department staff.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent education/work experience
2 years of experience or background in healthcare clinic work, marketing, or business related experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Experience in a clinical setting
