Providence Health & Services Lead Sleep Technologist in Colville, Washington
Providence is calling a Lead Sleep Technologist ( Sleep Laboratory , Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Mount Carmel Hospital in Colville, Washington. In this position you will:
Support the PerformanceImprovement process.
Assist with, or perform,according to scope of practice, a timely assessment of patients, according topolicies, procedures, and protocols, taking into account age/developmentalstage.
Provide respiratory carefor patients as requested by physicians in accordance with all policies,procedures, and protocols as outlined by the technical policy and proceduremanual.
Provide Sleep Studies forpatients as requested by physicians in accordance with all policies,procedures, and protocols as outlined by the technical policy and proceduremanual.
Maintain knowledge of changing procedures and techniques relating to sleep studies.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Washington State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
Registry as a Polysomnographic Technologist required (or within 2 years of hire)
1 year experience to enable the employee towork effectively in commonplace work situations and to provide a workingknowledge of the principles, practices, standards, methods, and techniques ofthe Respiratory Care field/Sleep Study field
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Recent critical care experience (within the last 12 months)
Recent experience in the field of Sleep Study technology
Sleep scoring experience
