Providence Health & Services Patient Services Representative in Colville, Washington
Providence is calling a Patient Services Representative ( Family Practice Clinic , Days, 1.0 FTE) to Physician Management Group in Colville, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Provide clinic check-in check-out:
Ensuring documentation is complete and signed accurately
Collection of appropriate co-pay or payments on account
Collection of proper and complete patient demographics.
Daily opening and closing of cash box.
Scan and fax as required by clinic.
Reception area management:
Using AIDET protocols
Keeping reception area clean, and tidy including personal space
Answer multi line phone system to clinic standards, including proper documentation.
Understand HIPAA and patient privacy.
Collect of Provider’s in and out box daily.
Adhere to established company compliance, policies, procedures and protocols.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
Prior customer service experience
Current BLS – Healthcare Provider (must be AHA accredited) upon hire for Urgent Care.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.
Prior customer service experience in a medical field.
