Providence Occupation Hand Therapist in Spokane Valley, Washington
Providence is calling a Occupation Hand Therapist (Orthopedics, Days, Full Time) to Providence Medical Group in Spokane Valley, Washington. In this position you will:
Perform a timely assessment of patients, according to policies, procedures, and protocols, taking into account age and developmental scale.
Evaluate each patient providing a plan of care that is specific to their unique orthopedic needs.
Facilitate discussions regarding patient treatment, splinting, and use of ancillary staff. Demonstrate competence in use of PAM’s including, but not limited to: therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, superficial heat/cold modalities.
Demonstrate manual therapy skills to include but not limited to: PROM of upper extremity joints; up to grade four joint mobilization of upper extremity joints.
Fabricate a wide arrange of protective and progressive splints.
Maintain and order minimum, necessary supplies to allow the hand therapy department to function without delay in service.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Masters degree or equivalent from an accredited school of occupational therapy
2 years clinical experience in the treatment of hand and upper extremity diagnoses.
Licensed in the state of Washington as an Occupational Therapist (OT/L)
