Providence Health & Services Speech Language Pathologist - Home Health in Spokane Valley, Washington
Providence is calling a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) (Home Health Spokane Vna, Days, 0.0 FTE) to Providence VNA Home Health in Spokane Valley, Washington. In this position you will:
The SLT will perform comprehensive speech, language and swallow assessments, develop plans of care, coordinate care with other disciplines and provide direct patient care in the implenations of outcome oriented speech therapy interventions under the Physician ordered Plan of Care.
All required documentation will be complete, accurate and timely.
Promote and practice patient/family, personal and environmental safety while performing job duties according to agency policies and procedures.
Participate in relevant educational activities to provide competent care to patients/caregivers, to improve the rehab process, and to seek personal and professional growth.
Display professionalism in the work environment in all areas including communication with both internal and external customers.
Maintain productivity as per agency standard.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in Speech & Language Pathology from an institution approved by the State board
Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an institution approved by the state board in collaboration with the American Speech Therapy Association. Certificate of competency required
Current Washington State Speech & Language Pathologist License.
Certificate of competency in Speech Pathology required.
Current Washington State driver’s license.
Current CPR certification.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 1 year of therapy experience with adult physical disabilities.
