Providence Health Care is headquartered in Spokane, Washington and serves the Inland Northwest Region (eastern Washington through central Montana, northern Idaho and north central Oregon). PHC has established a robust long range strategic plan which includes descriptive clinical sites throughout the Spokane region, regional and rural affiliations, information system provisioning for affiliate organizations, joint ventures with other clinicians and care providers, and has established close relationships with local insurers to develop an integrated delivery organization. PHC is the largest employer in the region and provides in excess of $100 million per year in community benefit through the provision of care to the poor, contribution to community organizations, and services provided within PHC.
