Providence Health & Services Clinical Pastoral Education Manager in Spokane, Washington

Providence is calling a Clinical Pastoral Education Manager (Full time day shift role) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

  • be responsible for administering the CPE program and for supervision of CPE interns and residents who will be offering spiritual care to PSHMC patients, families and personnel.

  • collect and maintain data and other information necessary for program administration and certification.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Master’s of Divinity or equivalency

  • Certification as a Certified Educator or Associate Certified Educator in the ACPE (previously known as ACPE Supervisor)

  • Current membership or eligibility in one of the professional chaplain organizations (i.e. APC, NACC, etc)

  • Endorsement for chaplaincy by his/her denomination/faith/tradition

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Computer experience: word processing, database

  • Appreciation and understanding of Catholic institutional ministries
