Providence Health & Services Clinical Pastoral Education Manager in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Clinical Pastoral Education Manager (Full time day shift role) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
be responsible for administering the CPE program and for supervision of CPE interns and residents who will be offering spiritual care to PSHMC patients, families and personnel.
collect and maintain data and other information necessary for program administration and certification.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master’s of Divinity or equivalency
Certification as a Certified Educator or Associate Certified Educator in the ACPE (previously known as ACPE Supervisor)
Current membership or eligibility in one of the professional chaplain organizations (i.e. APC, NACC, etc)
Endorsement for chaplaincy by his/her denomination/faith/tradition
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer experience: word processing, database
Appreciation and understanding of Catholic institutional ministries
