Providence is calling a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) (Inpatient Rehab Spinal Injury, Night Shift, 0.9 FTE) to Providence St Luke's Rehabilitation Institute in Spokane, Washington. In this position you will:
Recognize and be able to meet the basic needs of patients, such as bathing, grooming and dressing.
Assist with all PO intake of food and/or liquids.
Take and record daily vitals.
Toileting patients and ensuring proper protocol is followed.
Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly, including changing bed linens, emptying trash, putting away equipment (such as wheelchairs and walkers), stocking linens, etc.
Ensuring equipment (helmets, SCDs, Spenco boots, etc.) that has been ordered by physician or clinician is being utilized by appropriate patients.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Licensed as a NAC in the state of Washington required.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) certification for the Healthcare Provider required, or obtain within first 30 days of employment.
Medical Assistant Registered required within 6 months of hire.
