Providence is calling a Manager Professional Development ( PHC Professional Development , Days, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Health Care in Spokane, Washington. In this position you will:

Seek to stay current related to healthcare trends and critical business practices.
Manage the clinical educator budget:
Communicate project goals, timelines, and milestones; lets people know what they need to accomplish; identifies project interdependencies and potential resource constraints; follows up with others to ensure they are on track to meet project goals.
Coach and Develop Others:
Foster a learning environment within the team by seeking input and insights from others with whom they interact, peers and team members alike.
Helps caregivers be more successful through their teaching and coaching efforts.
Embody a commitment to serve as a Mission-focused leader.
Weave principles of social accountability, community orientation, and stewardship into business practices.
Enhance a culture of compassion with a commitment to care for the poor and vulnerable in the broadest sense, every day.
Professional Education Practice:
Ensure development and implementation of educational offerings that meet regulatory requirements.
Ensure that educational offerings and educator activities are consistent with organizational goals for quality, safety, and performance improvement.
When appropriate, keep current on project status; makes sure people are aware of project status and what they need to do to keep things moving; redirects project resources and activities to overcome setbacks; elevates project concerns to senior levels of leadership when appropriate.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Master's Degree in Nursing or related field.
Current Washington State RN License
Three (3) years in Staff development or academic teaching.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Certification in specialty
