Providence Health & Services Perioperative Services Department Coordinator in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Perioperative Services Department Coordinator (Surgery Administration, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children’s Hospital in Spokane, Washington. In this position you will:
Provide administrative, analytical, and project support to the Perioperative Services Director, the Regional Director, Procedural Physician Services, Perioperative Business Manager, Perioperative Nurse Managers, and the Surgery Medical Director.
Support to the Surgery Medical Director is limited to Medical Center work including but not limited to, management of Outlook calendars, preparing PowerPoint presentations for MEC, meeting support for intra Surgery department meetings and receiving, tracking, and typing responses to patient complaints.
Serve as the central liaison between the Perioperative Services team and its internal and external customers.
Participate in planning of meetings and conferences, including content and logistics, and conducts research, tracking and reporting functions.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent education and experience in healthcare, project management, business or clinical operations or information technology
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel. Knowledge of medical terminology, and an excellent command of the English language
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Three to four years Executive Assistant or Project Coordinator experience
Experience in project coordination, project management or project administration
