Providence Health & Services Pharmacy Technician Supervisor in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor (Pharmacy, Evening Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Orient, educate, and train new technicians, and complete annual evaluations and competency documentation.
Schedule, staff, and have daily oversight of the technician staff.
Ensure policies and procedures are implemented and followed on a consistent basis.
Spend part of the time working on-line as a technician, and carry out other duties as assigned.
Assist the Supervisor of Pharmacy Operations in the identification and coordination of assigned activities to ensure the accuracy of timeliness of the drug distribution systems.
Consistently participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy goals and objectives.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Washington State Pharmacy Technician certification
4 or more years pharmacy technician hospital experience
Demonstrate initiative, leadership, and strong communication skills, as well as, possess conflict resolution skills
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Preference for individuals with professional affiliations
