Providence Health & Services RN Relief - Residential Care in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) - Relief (Residential Care, Variable Shift 0.0 FTE) to Providence Emilie Court Assisted Living in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Direct the day-to-day functions, on assigned shift, of the personal care attendants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the assisted living facility.
Review the resident’s chart for specific treatments, medication orders, diets, etc., as necessary and if questions arise while on-call.
Complete and file required record keeping forms/charts upon resident’s transfer, or assign to RCA.
Direct RCA to requisition and arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services, as ordered by the physician, and in accordance with our established procedures.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university
Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Approved Nurse Delegation class
Group home, boarding home or assisted living experience. Experience with Nurse Delegation
