Providence Health & Services Sterile Processing Technician II in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Sterile Processing Technician II (per-diem/on-call, 0.0 FTE, Variable shift) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children’s Hospital in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for the preparing and building of the case carts that go into each operating room to include picking the clinical disposable supplies and instruments used for each surgery.
Insure proper techniques and procedures, and include the cleanliness and sterility demanded by the item or items being processed.
Assist in maintaining an inventory of sterile supplies and/or instruments on shelves in the L2 area, surgery area(s), Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby and Anesthesia.
Act as Lead when assigned and does assigned tasks.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
High school graduate or equivalent
One year experience in Central Processing
Medical terminology experience
